     This is a picture of my grandson taken when we visited Monticello. While inside Jefferson's humble home, he let fly a noxious emission of the type known as "SBD". It embarrassed me at the time, especially since I was standing with him at ground zero, and might have easily been mistaken for the perpetrator, but it probably wasn't the first time such an aroma was noticed in the mansion. In a warped sort of way, it was probably a somewhat fitting tribute to our 3rd president, whose favorite meal was beans.
